DR. STEPHEN LU RECEIVES 2015 IFEES DUNCAN FRASER GLOBAL AWARD
Dr. Lu’s collaboration with Maxxis has included supporting the USC Viterbi iPodia Program. This program focuses on promoting collaborative learning among students from different institutions and countries through the internet. The iPodia Alliance, which includes universities from various countries, works together to create borderless classrooms and foster interdisciplinary collaboration among students and instructors. Dr. Lu’s belief that engineering education should expand beyond technical subjects to encompass socio-technical disciplines aligns with the iPodia Program’s goals.

Dr. Lu’s partnership with Maxxis, along with his training in Innovative Design Thinking (IDT), contributes to the company’s success in product design, long-term planning, and creative thinking.
