How to participate in/receive an iPodia course?

This session assumes that you are a faculty of a university which is a current member of iPodia Alliance, and that you and/or your university are interested in having your students to join an new and/or existing iPodia course.

Verify with your iPodia Liaison (or equivalent) on campus that your university's iPodia Alliance membership is current.

Obtain through your iPodia campus liaison a list of currently existing and newly proposed iPodia courses which have been formally accepted by the iPodia Alliance Office.

Identify an iPodia course which you believe that the subject is of interested to you and your students, and that they can benefit from the learning together opportunities with those global partnering institutions of this iPodia course.

Work through your iPodia campus liaison (and via the iPodia Alliance Office, if necessary) to get in contact with the chief instructor of the said course to express your interests.

Agree on a specific role of you and your institution (e.g., a collaborator to jointly teach the course or a participant to just receive the course) with the course chief instructor, including how your campus can (or plan to) meet the iPodia platform requirements for course participation.

Submit a brief request, stating the specific iPodia course, your partnering role, agreement by your institution and the current course partnering institutions, other related academic and logistic details, to the iPodia Alliance Office through your iPodia campus liaison at least six (6) months prior to the begging of semester when you plan to participate in the said course.

Your request for course partnership will be reviewed and approved by the iPodia Alliance Office no later than four (4) months prior to the begging of semester when you plan to participate in the said course.

Work closely with the existing partnering institutions of the course to plan all execution details and facility requirements, and begin student recruitments on campus no later than three (3) months prior to the begging of semester when the said course is to be offered.

Collaborate with the chief instructor and other partnering institutions during course delivery, and supervise/support students who enroll in this course on your campus during the semester.

Contribute to the course final report led by the host institution to the iPodia Alliance Office within three (3) months upon the successful completion of the said course.
